Cycle of Survival is a concept album about a man leaving his shattered life in the city behind and heading to the wilderness to live off the land. After thriving for months and coming across an abandoned cabin to live, some bad decisions are made which lead to his inevitable end. He becomes part of the mountain forever.

The concept was inspired by personal experiences of living in the wilderness for long periods of time. It blends works of fiction and non fiction with the struggles and exhilaration of living in a mountainous forest alone.
